My son's controllers got broke. So I bought him new controllers. Well before I got home the new controllers he factory reset the headset.
When trying to set the headset back up and pair the controllers it wouldn't let me past the white screen that gave me a code to pair the headset to continue setting it up as new. I tried putting the code in numerous times and it kept telling me if couldn't find the device.
After talking with the Meta Quest support and trying everything possible, it all comes down to the headset not being connected to our home Wi-Fi after the Factory reset. Without the headset being connected to the home Wi-Fi we can't set it up.
I think that they should have better prepared for things like this. You should be able to set the headset up from another device. The only thing they could do for me was offer me a new headset for $159.99 smh! Absolutely unacceptable! We will not be buying any thing else from the Meta Company.
After reading through so many different people that have went through this, I will definitely NOT RECOMMEND ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
