If you have played Rising Storm 2 you would know how commander works. You can call stuff in like air strikes, artillery, recon, napalm, etc. If you have played World in Conflict you know that game is mainly about what you pick and the fire support you call in. Now, if we can get a game like this it would be a lot better than just Dead and Buried. I like being in the game with other people trying to complete the objective and trying hard to with good strategy. I got my binoculars on as squad lead and people spawn on my location. I'm far away but flanking far from the group. If we can get this sort of feel it would be great. I mean. The future of VR would be to bring back the Silent Scope arcade gun but one we could hold and it has a strong kick back like Time Crisis for the consumer. It would be cool laying down in VR and reloading some real magazines. Like holding off a force w/ a group would be insane!!!!! Maybe the other option would be to use an LMG and rifle. If you have seen the military videos on Youtube you can see how people are holding down a base by just sitting in a trench and taking some fire. I mean I think the VR quality is really bad for this but looking at Dead and Buried I think it's extremely possible. I want to feel the action going on like in Ghost squad arcade. Hopefully some people will get together to make this happen and research Everything I said. It's cool using 2D controllers but it's like using a Wii steering wheel in a racing game difference using a good force feedback wheel. It's like using a game controller or keyboard and mouse vs a good HOTAS stick with force feedback. If you have a HOTAS or wheel set w/ no force feedback it sux. I want to feel that Kick back!! I want to feel a part of something w/ other people who feel the same to complete something that isn't super easy. It would be cool to duck some sniper shots and have someone try to pin point where it's coming from. Eventually VR will go there but when it does I hope it takes into consideration everything I said and games are made around the foundation of what I said w/ nothing lacking. If we are going that direction we might as well have the best possible stuff for some serious awesome. Any FPS and military/gun enthusiasts would 100% take a loan out to the some equipment. Equipment that is affordable but can be add-ons. People can also use one gun for everything but lack the real feel of the right one. I mean the environments are what change what is happening. The special effects, the graphics, the situation. All that changes the feel. I really want that Silent Scope gun for VR. This has to be brought back!! Crisis Zone, Time Crisis, Ghost squad, all arcade coin-ops. I think a lot of you never tried it because you don't leave by the boardwalk. Those were the attractions I grew up with. I mean, just 2D VR is good but it's like the difference between your car in real-life vs an aerobatic aircraft. I want physical sensations than the mental math feel. The feedback aspect is extremely important and development around that but really good development that people will want it for the developments. No one does it and if it's going to get done, it should get done right first otherwise it will be all separated and development gets separated then the content sucks and no one makes profits.

Sorry, I didn't read the whole wall of text, but I got the impression you were talking about the Time Crisis force-feedback gun. That thing was the jam. I recall at one point they have a bootleg version for the PC that would work in MAME games, not sure they are still floating around. And Gunblade NY was the best.

You guys should have someone to read the whole thing then or just see these vids. I want to play a co-op game where I can feel I'm actually there instead of say mentally masturbating what is going on. The hard clicking is what matters the most. Just pulling the trigger that would feel like using a wii mote is stupid. I want to feel some hard recoil like what I'm doing is going to have some serious effect so linking the game w/ the clicks will matter. I assume someone will take the ideas and half-ass it so much that it will cost a lot and there would be no games then lock everyone out due to the patent like the 3DS which would have went really far if they probably didn't super patent that area.
