Hello everyone,
First of all, I want to apologize for the long delay between updates. Like many of you, the LOW-FI team has been greatly affected by the global events of the past few months. That said, we have been far from idle, and have some exciting announcements to share.
Just released update v0.015. On the surface there may not seem to be a lot of new content, but there has been a lot done when it comes to core mechanics and back end. Here is the change log.

-Dialogue system implemented (example via story mode in Police station)
-Force grab added (can pick up objects from a distance)
-Camera tool added (access by taping camera icon on knuckles)
-Quest log added to AR HUD.
-Basic Upgrade system added to AR HUD.
-More emulation options (see "LOW-FI Emulator Guide.docx" in installation folder for details)
-Clunker physicality (can knock off path/kill[some] clunkers)
-Keep an eye out for "watchers", above the streets
-Debug menu added to AR HUD("cheats", inventory, fast travel, etc.)
-Updated door functionality
-Many bug fixes and jank removal.
-Lots of back-end work on writing, dialogue and general game mechanics.
-Optimizations
UPDATES WILL BE COMING MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY
Now that a lot of the base "guts" of the game are worked out, we can really start ramping up the content dumps. Expect more areas, more interactivity and more excitement in the coming weeks.
Last week we saw the addition of some amazing new talent to the team. Bryan Edward Hill has joined to help with writing and overall story. Bryan's credits include Batman and the Outsiders, Detective Comics, Killmonger, Ash vs. the Evil Dead and Titans and more! We're super excited to have him aboard and can't wait to show off his amazing talent as the worlds narratives unfold.
Aaron Gross of Studio Quiet, is onboard doing some mind-blowing graphic design work for everything from in-world company brands and advertisements to signs and product packaging. Keep an eye out for some of his work in the recent update.
Alan Torres is on board to help with Video Production and additional character dialogue. Check out his YouTube channel Spectr Gaming for some amazing cyberpunk videos.

PRESS
There's been a lot of great press lately, for the game you've made possible and we want to share a few of the highlights.
LOW-FI was featured during the Upload / IGN Summer Showcase with a new trailer that was views by tens of thousands of viewers world wide.
https://vimeo.com/425799757/290ad4af3fCerberusarms gave us a glowing preview and exclaimed how excited he is for the games potential.
https://youtu.be/EBagsiaUHfkAnd finally, I had the privilege of being interviewed by Norman Chan from Testedabout the scope of the game and it's cinematic influences.
https://youtu.be/iDuNZRtZrp8Lastly, I want to reassure you all that we're back on track and kickin' butt with phase 2. As mentioned, updates will be coming more frequently now, and as the world becomes more fleshed out, we'll be reaching out to higher tier backers directly and with surveys to get their in-game rewards moving ahead. Note that this will still be at least a few months out, but I want to reassure you that we haven't forgotten. We just want to make sure that the world is ready for you 🙂

I was a little dissapointed with the comments from Blair Renaud to a person reviewing the current dev build on reddit. Seemed unprofessional and immature to what I thought was a fair summary of what you get with the current dev build if you buy it right now.

Better pancake than Quest support. Because we all know what upcoming Quest support can do for levels of polys and textures... Quest support can be close to instant death, lol.

Seems defensive more than anything. I think a lot of developers are like that. People shouldn't really do in-depth reviews (especially when telling others not to buy) for EA products, when EA is a tool for developers to get extra needed funding.

I think he must have deleted his reply, just some video links now. The poster was right though 2020 November was certianly way off.

Looks better than Cyberpunk 2077 - but admitted, I did have severe graphics errors in that game 😉
