Landfall is removed from the Meta Store - one of the finest VR Real-Time-Strategy games is dead

Four years after the game's launch, thanks to the brute force of high-end gpus, this game is a dream come true! All screenshots were taken using res 400% (about 35 mill pixels per frame for both eyes) - and I got totally solid 90 fps with the RTX 3090. Might even be able to do 500% - but didn't test that yet:

This is a screenshot from the game - I think it looks beyond awesome. High poly levels, awesome light and shadows - and great fun to play!

Looks like the graphics haven't aged at all - even today graphics are way beyond average VR games and apps

With Brass Tactics (highest settings + res 300%) and Landfall (res 400%) I really feel I can't ask for much more - these are the most impressive RTS games I have ever experienced. And no, I do not care for pancakes - at all.   

For the first time Landfall looks totally like the awesome screenshots from the press kit, lol:

I just tried Landfall, and the game no longer launches - and the game seems removed from the Meta Rift Store - anyone knows what is wrong?

I paid for this game - I do expect that my game work!

Note that I have of course just contacted Vertigo Games (now in charge of the game) and Meta Support.

I've learned pretty soon, that I actually not be a real "owner" of a game.
I only get the license to use the content i paid for.
If Meta or the devs decide not to support a game anymore, I'm lost....no matter, how much money I spent for it.

I have to say ....I don't like that☹️

Also this is creative content costing many thousands or maybe a million bucks to make, but I'm just guessing about the costs. It's truly saddening to see such great games destroyed. 

But also just saw that Brass Tactics is gone from the Meta Store - that's a catastrophe if its gone forever. Brass Tactics is the king of VR RTS.

Yes - one dude on Reddit tested it for me yesterday. It seems the official PCVR link to Brass Tactics is dead:

- but this seems to be a common error with the Meta Store right now. If you use the Meta phone app, choose the Rift Store and search for Brass Tactics, you should be able to purchase it. You might not postpone playing that game for long - rumor has it that Brass Tactics no longer works with Index 13th gen cpus, so maybe the game will be removed in a not too distant future... Which would be a small catastrophe as Brass Tactics is the king of VR RTS.

Just contacted Meta Support to let them know about Landfall, but of course the Meta software engineers or persons responsible for the PCVR Store already know this - as they have removed the game from the store and flagged it with "Limited functionality".

Well, the killing of Landfall is not taken lightly by the VR community - in about 24 hours I've got 170,000 views in the Oculus and VR Subreddits.

Now, I'm sure that several Meta Supporters are reading what I'm posting here. It would be great if some of you could let those in charge of the Rift Store - and/or other relevant personnel - know that we are many who are very sad to lose Landfall. If Meta can do anything about this, it would be greatly appreciated.

It also works using the Oculus pc app.....just not via the web page.

Ok, really strange about the webpage - but seems to be a general error, many games if not all seem affected, hopefully it gets fixed soon.
