Looking for more photogrammetry and/or re-creation apps

Hey,
there! I was just given a Rift S a couple of days ago, so I'm still
discovering what's out there. I've got plenty of advice on games, but
I'm having trouble finding more of something that I discovered I crave
even more: recreations of real-world locations (and I'm not talking
Flight Simulator or Google Earth.)

See,
I'm a lifelong student of history, especially the history of the
day-to-day. A couple of experiences I tried had a real impact on me.
The first was 1943 Berlin Blitz, put out by the BBC. It puts you
inside a perfect recreation of Lancaster bomber on a bombing run over
Berlin. It's built around a recording of the crew's discussions during
the actual mission. The second was just called "Derbyshire Churchyard",
made by Valve, used photogrammetry to produce a fully-3d,
photorealistc recreation of a 12th-century medieval church that you can
move around freely. Not just a 3d photo ala street view, but a full
polygonal recreation. In both cases these were periods I'd studied,
but experiencing them firsthand - seeing the cramped interior of the
Lancaster with the full crew in place, the wall of searchlights and
flak, or seeing the size and mass of the tracery in the windows -
brought a new comprehension to subjects that were just facts before.
Actually getting to see the things I've studied "in person" was
incredible.

It might not be for
everyone, but for me it was eye-opening. Where can I find more
experiences like this? The church especially was memorable. Valve has a
couple more, which I've got queued up, but I'm look for more.
