MSFS Freezes after 15 minutes

Hello,

I have ben using the Quest2 VR headset for about 6 months now with a cable link, and haven't had any issues until recently. Flying with MSFS2020, after 15-20 minutes, I attempt to switch to VR mode in the cockpit by pressing <CNTRL> <TAB>, and it will NOT go into VR mode. The Sim freezes, the mouse disappears, and I can't do anything but close it all down.

I will provide you with my system specs if required. Any help will be appreciated!

Thank you,

Dennis L Stanek

Its nvidia driver problem. I researched a lot and found a solution. People rolled back to older versions. Although nvidia have now made an update, it is stated that they have fixed msfs. I didn't check.

Hey hey @dennis.stanek.9, while I haven't personally played MSFS, it looks so cool! I used to love those flight simulator machines they have at the Air and Space Museum in DC when I was a kid, and I think I would love experiencing something similar in VR!

That being said, I don't have any specific steps to assist with this in-game issue. Since it's only available on Steam (not the Quest store), you may want to reach out to Steam's support. Alternatively, I think your best bet (unless others chime in on this thread) is going to be to reach out to the developers of MSFS for some assistance. You should be able to submit a request to them HERE.

Make sure you smash that Kudos button!

Thank you gentlemen for the solutions. I got a message from NVidia that there is a new studio driver available for installation and will D/L and install it when i get home later.

THANKS AGIN,
