The game is out for PCVR and for PSVR today, and although the game may look very simple and lacks proper textures, the poly count may have been shaped for PSVR, which isn't bad. The PC version also is 10GB, so it's not a tiny game. As can be seen in the shots below, the view distance looks great.

EDIT Arpil 25. Note that only the Oculus version support native Oculus drivers (including ASW 2.0 support for optimal performance) - the Steam version only supports Steam drivers.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
I haven't had the time to try the game yet, but will later today - Ben did like it though:

I do wonder what totally amazing hmd the Maskmaker devs could have used to make the game...

Ah, found it in the trailer (red arrows) - there are dynamic shadows in the game! I'm getting quite allergic to VR games with no dynamic lighting and shadows these days, don't wanna experience an anaphylactic shock a few minutes into the game!

Are you referring to those shadow which appear and disappear dynamically when you take some object in hand? 😉 😄
(even some shadows from your own hand on your weapon in the same hand)

Look's cool! 🙂

Actually there are no dynamic shadows in the game, at least in the start, but it has tons of baked shadows (like Valve also did with Alyx), but poly levels are fine - objects are round - and many textures are high-res-ish when close. There are some lighting effects. Does feel like the PS4 is getting to be somewhat of a limitation, lol.
For now I'm at 3.5/5 - VRFocus says 4/5:
https://www.vrfocus.com/2021/04/review-maskmaker/
Game works perfectly in solid 90 fps using Index res 150% with all in-game settings maxed (=high). Colors really pop with the Index. There's full locomotion and smooth turning.
Some Rift and Quest 2 users have had problems starting the game, but it works flawlessly with the Index. Index controllers are fully supported (you can see the Index controller icon in-game).
The game has no native Oculus driver support - quite annoying, would have liked to try it with the Rift CV1. Maybe later (of course I've informed the devs about the missing dynamic shadows and the missing native Oculus driver support 😇 )

Maybe the game is a bit demanding - according to the devs:
"As the levels are fairly large, we had to do a lot of optimization so the game can runs smoothly even on PC, and we had to cut dynamic shadows pretty early on unfortunately 😕 "
But sure - the view distance is really great.

The game is now also available in the Oculus Store - but this game looks fine with lcd, I'll stick with the Steam version and the Index this time:

Seems the Oculus Store is totally dead - right now there're only 2 ratings for MaskMaker - so no one supports the good old Oculus Store anymore? Quite sad.
For those with a Oculus Rift hmd, getting the Oculus version is the only way to get optimal performance with ASW 2.0 support in MaskMaker. The Steam version does not support ASW 2.0.
It's a great game - the vistas in the mountains are spectacular - it is a rather gpu demanding game when it opens up. Today my rating has increased to 4/5 🙂
Note that this game will not be release for the Quest, at least the devs have not planned any Quest release - so Quest owners will need to use the Oculus Link - directly from the devs:
"Hello, PC and PSVR was our first choice but we'd love to have the game on Quest/Quest2 standalone at some point even if this is not planned for now"
