Meta quest link not loading after update

Using the Meta Quest link for over 2 months but after today I've updated to Meta Quest link app 76.0.0.452.315 now the app takes ages to load and once done although headset is connected link doesn't work. I meed to run the oculus-driver.exe to solve the issue. After contacting support they are blaming the issue to Windows 11 pro as they are saying the quest link is not compatible with the pro. I think that is non sense as both the home and pro are based on the same os and as I sad the system was running perfectly till the update. Also the recommended OS is either the Windows 10 or 11. No home or pro are specified

If you use windows search for services, then find oculus vr runtime service, and stop the service then restart it. Close that out then open the link app it should open right up and then you can connect to the head set. Problem is you have to repeat this procedure after you restart your computer or device.

Solution is first re-dawnload link app and do repair (or just re-install, which is the same). Then, restart OVRService every time you restart your PC. TaskManager => Services => search for OVRService, right click and Restart.
