The potentially most interesting VR game next year might already be arriving in January - namely the AAA game Hitman 3 (jump to 1:20):
The next most interesting VR game - or maybe even the best - may be Hubris - it already looks incredibly awesome:
If I had to guess, then the third most interesting game in 2022 could be Wanderer - but I like adventure games a lot:
- also Green Hell VR is looking great:
Then again, Firmament from Cyan (the makers of Obduction VR and Myst PCVR) looks incredibly awesome too:
For those wanting more action, Vertigo 2 seems to have reached a very high quality level judging from the latest trailer:
Another gem probably arriving next year is Moss: Book 2:
For now Moss: Book II has only been announced for PSVR, but the same happened in 2018, when Moss launched for PSVR in Feb 2018 and 4 months later for PCVR with high-res textures and more (that was June 2018). Let's hope that we'll get the real VR Moss 2 version no later than Summer 2022 🤞
Potential hits
There are many more great PCVR games arriving next year, although some seem to have trouble getting done, or have failed to impress me enough in the trailers and more. Still I hope we'll also see District Steel in 2022:
- and hopefully Undead Citadel:
- I have my doubts when we'll see N1NE: The Splintered, but it also should arrive early next year:
I do have high hopes for Project 4 (next game by the makers for Boneworks), Blunt Force, Low-Fi and LONN.
So looking forward to another awesome year for PCVR, even if this year with the games shown here may be close to the best year ever for PCVR:

Btw, I may have missed several awesome PCVR games arriving in 2022, do write a post if you've found some needing to be on the list of greatest upcoming PCVR games in 2022!

Moss book 2 is starting to look awesome - I guess we're seeing the PSVR2 (PlayStation 5) graphics here:
Still no confirmation of PCVR, but I'm convinced we'll get the game too. 2c.

The devs say the updated game is out now - including the singleplayer campaign - but they just had no time to update the Steam page, so it still looks like you're buying the early access version:

Devs confirm the launch here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/334540/discussions/0/3187990555101910087/
I just bought the game, downloading later today!

Thanks for sharing those games with us. I want to play games and that is why I am searching for games online. Now, I am all free from my essay assignments and it is all because of this https://writinguniverse.com/free-essay-examples/music/ link. Because on that website, I have found so many free essay samples. And now, I can play games and my parents also won't stop me playing games.

Seems I forgot to include Hellsweeper VR in my first post in this thread - but back then Hellsweeper VR didn't look that good - but it does now - could easily be my favorite game this year. It's now a mix of Heretic/Hexen/Painkiller. Devs have now added high-res textures and dynamic lighting - see the first 49 seconds here:
Recommended is now a GTX 1080 or better. More info here:

Some old screenshots still look nice:

New PCVR games have just been announced - looks like some real gems:
Bonelab - sequel to Boneworks from Stress Level Zero:
BoneLab should be enjoyed with a RTX 2070 or better:
RECOMMENDED:

Some screenshots:
Saints and Sinners: Retribution is coming to Steam and Rift later this year - this is the PCVR trailer:
The Steam page is already up:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1947500/The_Walking_Dead_Saints__Sinners__Chapter_2_Retribution/
Hardware-requirements are increased from the original:
RECOMMENDED:
Some screenshots:
Espire 2 has only been announced for Quest 2, but as stated in the video at 0:08, this trailer was captured on PC - so I guess there'll be a PCVR version too 😎
Red Matter 2 has also been announced for Quest 2, but I think the trailer looks like PCVR - and so does RoadToVR: " [...] the game’s announcement trailer (below) is probably captured on PC":
(Source: https://www.roadtovr.com/red-matter-2-meta-quest-announcement-gameplay-trailer/ )
- and then there's Ghostbuster VR, again only announced for Quest 2 - but the Quest 2 cannot handle the lighting and high-poly assets shown in the trailer - but PC and PS5/PSVR2 can 😉
This trailer clearly does not show the Quest 2 version at all - Sony also states at 0:05 "Not actual gameplay" - and also states that this is a cinematic trailer based on the game's engine. And that engine seems to handle the PS5 and PC just fine - we'll see if Ghostbusters VR is coming to high-end VR or not 🤞 🍀

With today's announcement of F1 2022 offering Oculus Rift support, this year is beginning to feel like one of the greatest years yet for VR with 2 AAA games arriving (Hitman 3 and F1 2022) - more info about F1 2022 here:

Fracked is coming in a few days - May 5th 2022 - could be the best release so far this year, we'll see - devs just made a new countdown video on Twitter:

Just saw this game - and I'm starting to think this could be a real gem - if done right:
Screenshots look great, but admitted I do get the Moss vibes, lol - and the game does look like real PCVR with nice dynamic shadows and high polygon levels:
Soul of Kaeru might arrive later this year - we'll see. The game is on Steam right here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1975720/Soul_of_Kaeru/
A GTX 1070 8GB as recommeded gpu may also indicate that we're getting a genuine PCVR version, and not just some cheap port. 2c.

Wandering in Space could be another interesting VR game arriving this year:
For this game devs recommend a RTX 3070 Ti 😮 - so it's a massively highest-end VR game (or very badly optimized, lol) - but the game does look really awesome, and with 30GB it's bigger than Lone Echo 2:
The game is here - let's see if it launches this year, according to UploadVR the game will launch next month (=June 2022):
