We thought that this would be a good place to announce our Pre-Release Alpha of our newest VR game, MotorSport VR.

Motorsport Revolution is currently available for Windows users (a Mac OS version of the beta will be released soon) and is being billed as a complete immersion-racing experience built with other games and the popular Le Mans Series, a European sports-car endurance race, in mind. The single-player, physics-based game delivers at least a dozen three-
dimensional tracks from which players may choose. An official release of the game is slated for fall of 2014; the beta version of Motorsport Revolution can be found on the Ghost Machine website.
We will be actively updating the Alpha for members and taking build requests via our web forums located on our site. This is our early access release and will be offering a short demo to the share community in the very near future.

We've updated version 1.06 of the build, changes in this build include.
- added grid of 8 AI cars, this seems to be about the sweet spot as far as latency goes. We will continue to try to experiment with different grid sizes as we improve and optimize performance.
- randomized both colors and models of AI cars (each race now includes completely different field from 11 AI car setups)
- added race position and lap counter UI to the outside of the right window, attached to the car (we would love to get more feedback about what players prefer for UI display or no UI at all!)
- fixed early start and bugged finish sequence. We still have no end race UI to take player back to the selection menu, but we will be adding that in the next update.
We will also be releasing some 2D and 3D gameplay videos, this week, so we'll update the links when those go live.

Just added some early access 3D gameplay videos (viewable in the Rift) to the game description. For those without a Oculus, 2D versions of the videos also exist on our youtube channel.
We've have a new build of MotorSport VR Build (ver 1.07.1) this update includes:
- new track selection menu (still currently only one track to choose)
- fixed not being able to calibrate Oculus without a 360 controller at start (keyboard now accepted)
- added finish position scoreboard after race is complete
- returns player back to main menu after race is complete
-mild optimizations to race scene for better performance (removed redundant colliders)
- added soundtrack to opening and menu

These new tracks are not final art and may have some collision bugs, so be warned. I just wanted you to have some more options to play on in this early stage.
If you guys have any specific problems getting into them, or would prefer to have number of laps set to different amount let me know! Once we do another art pass on these tracks, we will release some game play videos to give everyone who doesn't have alpha access.

Ver 1.09 Update of Motorsport VR
- Added 3 more tracks Canada, Brazil, and Monterey. These are very early first pass art levels and will be relit to additional texture work in the following days. Some sharp curves on these street courses so there may be some existing AI bugs on the opponent cars which will be refined on the second art pass of these tracks.
