If you haven't already, check this one out, it's really addictive. It has a 3rd person view, and your character looks like a little tiny toy. If you've tried the Deeper demo, it has a very similar perspective. https://share.oculus.com/app/motorbike
It's crazy good. I haven't spent this much time in the Rift with one game since HL2.
The courses vary a lot in terms of difficulty - but no matter if the course is easy, hard or impossible (here is lookin at you, stupid barrel/ladder/explosive-course), you still need to try it just "one more time".
There's a very good demo available - but I would definitly say that it's worth buying the full game. I just wish it was on Steam (and that it worked with VR in Linux).
Awesome! I love these type of games in the Rift. Now, what someone needs to develop next is a Skate type game. Skating around a 3D skate park, pulling off all the tricks would be very cool in the Rift. I have a feeling these games will become very popular in the Rift, as they are easy to develop, easy to play, you don't get sick, and you instantly feel like you are playing a new experience. Just think of all the RTS games, Card games (MTG), X-Com, Diablo, Sim City, the list goes on and on.... Developers will go crazy with this style...soon it will be the norm, like 2D side scrollers were for the NES/SNES.
I'd love to see diablo III, or Starcraft, or some kind of isometric game with VR. I believe one of the original crystal cove demos was a UE4 powered tower defense game.
360 controller isn't recognized. I'm facing 90 degrees away from the start. And there's no README included. And instructions on the download page say "Controllers supported" and not much else. Does this have a re-center key? Anyone know what it is?
Fun game and worked first time with my 360 controller. My only issue is that I seemed to be too close to the motorbike itself and couldnt work out if that was normal or if not how to reset position (if its even possible).
