This has just gone on to kickstarter and looks great !

Is multi player and you can have someone play as DM as well.

There's also a "Dungeon Creator" tool as well, so should be plenty of replay-ability.

Thanks so much Tadin, jademan, Eveileyes, and Cob. If you have any questions about Mythica VR, I'm the lead engineer and would be happy to answer them.

Looks interesting.  I would be interested in making a small investment.

What what convince me to back this project big is if you gave me access to some the developer assets.  I mean for example if you're using Unity the assets you use (at least some of them) would be interesting to me.  Almost access to the developer forums (e.g. read only) would be interesting.

Hi zboson,
Interesting thoughts. We are using Unity, and our lives are definitely made easier by the awesome plugins in the Unity Asset Store. We plan to contribute to that community with our own plugins, probably some free, and some paid hopefully as another source of revenue.
We also plan on having frequent developer logs, as those are the Kickstarters we find the most rewarding to have backed. We made our first developer video log recently, and you can view it here: https://youtu.be/eNhm0pj9tis
Thanks for your interest!

That video is great!  It convinced me more. I like that you actually controller the monster.  That's unique.  It
let's it be DnD without relying on computer NPCs which would all fail
the Turing test miserably.

One project I have backed on kickstarter is SOTA (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/portalarium/shroud-of-the-avatar-forsaken-virtues-0/description). However SOTA does not support VR and it's way behind schedule and I'm highly disappointed in the quality overall (though it keeps getting funding, over 10 million USD so far).  I hope your plans are more realistic.  Bust most importantly is I want VR.

But I don't see anything on your Kickstarter page about developer access to Unity stuff.  If you look at SOTA they had a pledge called Developer which gave you Unity assets and access to the developer log.  Are your pledge levels fixed now or can you change them?

Hi ZBoson,
Sorry, I haven't come across that sort of a reward in a Kickstarter campaign, so could you tell me a little more about it? Is this access to just rigged characters and/or environments? Is it access to plugins? The target audience is just other developers? And what are the other developers doing with these assets?
It's definitely an intriguing concept. I am just unfamiliar with it, so I'd love to know more.
Thanks!
