Is Netflix allowed on the new oculus desktop?. If I open edge on windows 10 desktop and go to youtube that's ok and all videos show and play. On Netflix its just a blank page but I can here sound and select what I want to watch even when I put oculus on using touch but when playing there is no picture. Would it be acting as 2 users on same account.  Thanks.

Apps like Netflix, iTunes, HBO Go etc will not work on the virtual desktop as they are DRM protected. The Virtual Monitor that Oculus creates is non HDCP compliant therefore a black screen.

I can't speak to the Edge browser or the app, but Netflix plays fine for me through Chrome.

Works fine in big screen too.

In Chrome it still works for the time being for some people, Chrome only supports 720p streams and is less DRM heavy. 1080p is only supported on Edge and IE in windows. (for me Chrome doesn't work anymore either)

Google Chrome: up to 720p
Firefox: up to 720p
Opera: up to 720p
Safari: up to 1080p (on Macs running OS X 10.10.3 or greater)
Microsoft Edge: up to 1080p
Internet Explorer: up to 1080p

Dont no why edge doesn't really. I downloaded the big screen beta which looks excellent. On there web site it even says watch Netflix and still black screen.

I guess it's "Watch Netflix through a browser, not through their application using DRM/DHCP."

In rift, I open up my desktop the open up crome to the Netflix site and select my movie like I was just watching it on my computer without my rift and it works fine.
