Ocean Rift goes DK2

This very cool demo has been updated for the new sdk and I actually got it running smoothly for a change. I ran it in extended mode and was able to run the "directtorift" version just fine. No low persistence, but it's smooth at least. Looks great in dk2. I had to use the mirror for the download.

Damn that shark scared the .... out of me...

Works fine and smooth (:
I like the graphics, more animals and plant diversity would be the only thing that made it even better.

This demo totally blew me (and family members) away. Within a minute of trying it, one of my relatives was asking me where he could buy a Rift.

I find this sort of simulation is really perfect for the Rift as the headset naturally imitates the snorkel goggles one would be wearing while underwater. The experience feels completely natural as a result.

It's strange how inconsistent everyone's performance has been with these demos on dk2. I don't know what's going on with them exactly. I know Unity games are having some issues with the new sdk, but why I get a smooth motion while others get studder...beats me.
