First start vorpx. Then go to your steam game library, right click on outlast and choose properties, click on the launch options tab and enter -32 in. The game will launch now in 32bit mode. I dont know how good or stable it works - i play it the first time even in this moment - but till now it works very fine for me (without 3D but with good headtracking).
Update: After 3 hours gaming - no problems - works very good in my opinion.
Hey guys, thanks for the tip on adding -32 to the shortcut! how did you figure that out?
I am able to play comfortably by zooming out the screen to 75 in the menu. The game is not 3D but looks fantastic. The head tracking is silky smooth. I just cannot get my XBOX 360 controller to work with VorpX on in this game. My first play through without rift the controller worked great!
So far so good with VorpX in this game.

From what I have read there are a lot of issues getting the games to appear 3D. Therefore do the games just look flat but implement head tracking? How do you feel it still looks fantastic without the 3D element?
There seem to be very little videos on YouTube probably due to the slow distribution. It will be good to see it compared to tridef3d.
Yes, I stand by my comments. The game looks fantastic! It is not 3D, but that does not slow down the fear factor of playing this game in the Rift. The head tracking is silky smooth. The game is very playable in Vorpx, I had to zoom out about 75%.
The next best thing would be for the developers to add native 3D Rift support but I think they are busy tweaking he PS4 version.
