I have played through Portal 2 a number of times in normal "pancake" mode, it is one of my favorite games. Few months ago, when the VR mod from the flat to vr team came out and I was amazed by how well the game translated into VR (if you have the legs for it).
I just finished the game a few minutes ago and I have to say I was surprised about how emotional I got. This has never happened to me before (neither with VR nor flat games), I just stood there in the middle of the room speechless, rushing with emotions, it was wild.
I am so happy I could experience this. This game is immersive, but not in the usual way, it takes you into it's world, you get attached somehow, 10/10 experience.
I would like to thank all the people working on the mod of the game, you guys rock!
That's awesome. Portal is one of my absolute favorite games of all time. I just recently learned about the flat to vr modding and I'm considering buying a low-ish end gaming PC (I only have a mac) just to do this stuff. Exciting times!
