Rec Room - A blast :)

So just got my Touch about 2 hours ago - Decided to try "Rec Room" just to see how the controllers felt - spent almost an hour playing paintball......So much fun, simple but addictive especially when most of the people playing were just in having a fun time yelling and laughing. To the lone red team player that bested 3 of us in a team battle.....that was a riot!

The touch controllers are definitely going to up my time spent in the rift 🙂

I had a problem with this game, it was good fun, but behind me (away the sensors) the world was always significantly darker than looking forward. When I turned I reached a point at about 90 degrees, could've been exactly 90 degrees I don't know, when the world suddenly turned dark. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I had that problem, too. And I think it's intended that way. To force you to always face forward where the tracking works best (assuming you have the standard setup with 2 sensors) and use the stick to turn instead.
I don't like it either.

1) The dark shadow is indeed not a bug but a confusing game feature,
which the Developers plan to improve on : In the meantime if you want to
switch it off, you can simply switch the game from it's default 180°
tracking system to 360° tracking to get rid of it (even if you don't have 360° tracking, but in that case expect to lose hand tracking when facing the wrong direction without any dark shadow warning available).

2) I asked the
Developers about the reason for the heavy Windows 10 requirement, and they
answered it was for some minor issues (such as the camera gadget you can
pick up to film in-game footage not working on Windows 7), and that they would lower the requirement down to Windows 7. Meaning Windows 7
users can now download it too 🙂
