Recently purchased Ghost Town and while love it, can't get back on as once I select sitting, it instructs to press down reset (NOTE: I am pressing down all the way).  Do that and it automatically takes me back to the Beta homepage.  Have tried everything to no avail.  Hoping someone can help.

I have had the exact problem.  I have reached out to the developer, Fireproof Games as well and will update this thread if they respond to me.  Had to follow up for a response

Have you tried to reinstall Ghost Town? Also it may be a bad save file forcing the game to crash out but only way to find that out is to delete the game save off the cloud and headset and lose your progress. I have yet to find any issue with the game so far. Very enjoyable even if on the easy side of the puzzle games.

Just checking here to make sure as Im certain you are, but you are holding down the reset button until the headset has recentered itself to allow the game to continue.

I un-installed, deleted and re-downloaded again but didn't delete any cloud data.  I wouldn't think there would be any as I couldn't get beyond the rest view.  Holding the quest button takes me out to the meta quit/resume screen.

Upon checking, there was a cloud save file, so I deleted it, removed and un-installed app.  Then I re-downloaded, installed and same thing happened when long pressing the oculus button.

I have the Q3 and Q2 and have clould backup switched on. When I uninstall a game the save file is automatically uploaded to the could even though the confirmation screen when uninstalling states you may lose your save data.

If the save file is the problem you need to uninstall the game first (if i have a problem with a game save i usually delete the local save file first then uninstall the app to make sure the save file is gone).

Next but not necessary i reboot the head set.

Then I remove the save files off the cloud for both my Q2 and Q3

Then finally I reinstall.

You deleted the cloud backup first then unstalled but the uninstall probably backed up your corrupt save file backto the cloud and was brought back after the reinstall.

If you try this an still no luck then keep messaging the dev's

Although the behaviour is the same when pressing the oculus button, this time when it took me to the quit/resume screen, I went into the headset quick settings and selected reset view.  Problem solved!!!

Cool. I'm glad you sorted it out. Enjoy the game.
