What a great time be part of the VR crowd! I didn't even know this was releasing today and I can't wait to check it out later.

Looks like it's on sale for 20 bucks too. Anyone else picking this up?

Never played the original, so I instantly bought this.

Bought it and had my head in it for the last 2 hours, absolutely amazing.

Third copy of the game I have bought (Dreamcast, xbox 360, PC).

Was gutted when it was PSVR only, but that soon changed clearly.

Hoping Child of Eden gets the same treatment now.

Yea I owned it digitally on PlayStation but I was also bummed when this was only on PSVR at the time. I just got my rift and this release was a nice surprise. I'm still getting my VR legs but I hope to put an hour or so tonight. Pretty stocked!

Doesn't even run for a lot of people (myself included) and there's no way to get a refund.

Same here! I literally just logged out after 2 hours of play. OMG what a mind warp this game is. Love it.

I unlocked some stuff in the Beyond, and did 2-full run throughs of the main campaign/story.

Last year one of the first VR games I got for the Rift was Technolust. I fell in love with the Kerser arcade. I used to play that mini game for at least an hour a day, trying to get all the unlocks and just zoning out in the trance aspect of the game.

It wasn't up until this very moment with Rez that something has not only topped that Kerser experience, but also took it way the hell up to a new level. I unlocked some Trance world and there were parts in here that made me feel like I was going to go mad lol

Those boss battles are amazing though. Fantastic immersion, visuals, atmosphere, and game mechanics.

Two thumbs waaayyy up the no-no spot.

@Zenbane - People on reddit are saying it appears to run 60fps, and that the stereo 3d lacks depth. Did you notice any of that? (I haven't had a chance to play it yet)

Hmm, I can't say that I noticed anything during my 2 hours of entertainment. The game is fast-paced and engulfs the player in a multitude of sights and sounds. The graphics aren't up there with Witcher 3 and the sound isn't going to make the player's nips get stiff. But this is the kinda game that just grabs you and doesn't let go.

The audio and visual elements were fluid and enjoyable. I noticed no stuttering with the imagery, nor did I feel that the music wasn't up to par. The player's attacks add to the music, so the mind gets a bit distracted with that.

I mean... this makes me think of all the live bands I've ever seen: everything from Slayer, Cannibal Corpse and Lamb of God, all the way to Perfect Circle, Primus, and System of a Down. At these shows I don't worry about the size of the stage or the audio EQ of the speaker system. Instead myself, and it seems most others, allow the entire experience to take over: the energy of the band and the crowd together. It's an environmental experience.

That's how I would describe Rez.

Also, reddit is a poopoo platter 😛

Does anyone know how to get the Rez Infinite Digital Deluxe DLC pack which the press release says we should get? I can see how to on Steam but not the Oculus Store. 😞

I guess I could get a refund and buy it on Steam, but I'd rather not!
