So they just opened the pre-order for the game for $70 which includes the game itself and the guitar controller and is coming out late March. So my question is if anyone by any chance knows
- How much will the game cost on its own without the controller
- On their site they site compatible guitars are the two Fender guitars for Rockband 4, will it work with lets say guitar hero controllers or can a 3rd party guitar controller work too?
- How would the PS4 version controllers connect to the PC? same way the controllers do? (Never owned or connected a PS3/4 controller to PC so I dont know how they work)
It's probably still too early to know all the answers but who knows someone out there might have the answers I'm looking for
I have a guitar hero guitar for PS3 that I used to play Rockband on pc using a Bluetooth adapter and joytokey. I see no reason why I would not be able to use joytokey to emulate the appropriate keystrokes and still play the game. Guess I'll have to experiment when the game is released.

So just jumping on with another question. Can we get the adapter mount separately? I have no idea where mine is now.
somehow i doubt it, they dont even sell replacement wires separately what more these, but I think so long as you can mount it firmly without it moving too much onto the controller it should be fine, im not too sure how it works but it seem to only track the head stock of the guitar, so i can also assume some ReVive players to DIY a mount for it or something
