I'm pleased to announce Oculus have approved my first game for the store, it will be launching early next week.


Classic Mode
Play battleships just how you remember it

​Mission Mode
In mission mode you have to take over the seas against the enemy. Each win unlocks more seas to control.
Can you beat 150 missions and become Fleet Admiral

Sink the Ship
Precious Cargo
Search and Destroy
Survive the onslaught 

Environment
Set deep under the sea in a advanced command centre. You'll get to see sharks, blue whales, octopus, Orca and dolphins

@MowTin I started in December 2016, this is the first game I have created I wanted to set myself a challenge to learn a new skill and create and launch a VR game. There are a few assets used, such as the animals, boats, water and some of the sound effects. But only myself working on the project I completed the work with a lot of long weekends and late nights as I have a full time job as a CTO

Hi all

A lost of time has passed since June 2017 when I first launched Salvo. I have now completed a full update to the App due to launch beginning of April/ I have learnt a lot over the last few years and wanted to update my first game.

Here is the trailer for the updated Salvo, this was a large update.
Main updates
Complete visual overhaul
Cross platform multiplayer, Rift, GO (currently going through approval) and a mobile companion app.

Main Updates

-Updated main menu environment
-Complete visual update for mission command center
-Added low, medium and high graphics settings
-Menu now works with Touch controller Trigger button
-Updated world map to have some land height and ocean depth
-Replaced missile selection used for targeting with a touch screen interface
-Changed to a seated position, you need around 1m of clear space in front of you
-Leader boards load and show in main menu when opening the game
-Updated falling ships to have more dramatic explosions
-Added special moves in Mission Mode. Spy Plane, Salvo
-After Mission 10 you will unlock -Salvo - Fires 2 random shots
-After 15  mission wins you will unlock -  Spy Plane you can scan upto 4 enemy blocks and it will display if a ship is there or not
-After mission 25 unlocks a secondary salvo which fires 5 random shots.Total of 7 shots
-After Mission 40 unlocks level 2 spy plane - scans upto 9 blocks
-New artwork for the store and new trailer video

Bug Fixes
-Fixed a bug in mission description for ammo count where game is 1 shot per ship. Thanks to Double shot for pointing that one out
-Updated all pick up objects to move more smoothly with your hands meaning they no longer -come out of your hand when moving quickly
-Fixed a ship placement bug that allowed placing the ships incorrectly
-Fixed a radar material bug
-Corrected various UV mapping issues
-Spelling corrections within first missions
-Improved some scripting and visual elements to increase FPS on lower end computers
-Various optimisation fixes for frame rates improvements
-Fixed a bug with leaderboards, loading incorrectly for career mode when returning to the main menu
