SledgeRift is a snow sledding game. You go down hill on a "vehicle" and collect coins. This vehicle is controlled by your head movment! You can use collected coins to unlock more levels or vehicles. The more coins you collect in single level, the faster the vehicle goes. You get personal highscores for each level. There are also Online Leaderboards so you can compete against eachother!

Supports Windows, Mac and Linux
Download Game at: http://konradjablonski.co.uk/sledgerift/

Here is a trailer of 1.17!

Note* The name you enter at beginning is the name used on leaderboards. If you play without internet, its better to disable online mode by going to the settings next to leaderboard.

Please feel free to give any tips and suggestions!

Thanks!

Hadn't tried this for a while... it's great! Highly addictive. Each time I died I had to try "just one more time" 🙂

I'll definitely be voting on Greenlight if that becomes possible, and buying, too.

Two small observations:

- After each round, I'd like to see how many points I got, and how far away from the highscore I was..
- And also, I think a pause to physically get ones head straight before the round starts would be nice. I often had to turn my whole chair when I started a new round because I hadn't been looking straight ahead when the round started.

Other than that, it's really fun!! I would have bragged about being 11 points ahead of Fluke at time of writing, but since he didn't know that it could be an advantage to pick up the power-ups, I guess he'll take back first place in no time 😄

Thanks for a fun game!

Hey, thanks for the hints, really helps! The game slowly its coming together, but its going to be months (more then a year) before I would even think about charging money for it. Definitely there will be some kind of multiplayer races in free demo! Can't wait to start working on that, but first polishing this single player experience to perfection.

Glad you like it, every week I do some kind of update and usually add new vehicle, so be sure to check future versions 🙂 Hehe and congrats on getting to first place, its quite an accomplishment! I'm sure Fluke will try to get his revenge haha

Awesome thanks a lot for all the feedback!

By the way I've released version 1.17 today! Also made a trailer!

I haven't managed to fix the problem with that very few people that are not submitting to database, that will be my next weeks update priority! Sorry for inconvenience, and oh wow this post is getting big haha

Really love all the improvements this game has been getting since it was released and I can't wait to see where it's going in the future. The replay value of this is extremely high and that is some what rare in a rift game.

Fired it up without running as Administrator, I now see a bunch of new high scores (with Fluke having something like 283 for Sunny Day). Did a run to get a big score, and it didn't stick to the scoreboard. Got out, tried again running as Administrator, got a 310 on Sunny Day (go me!), and it still didn't stick. Also tried getting out and getting back in, no change. I confirmed that my PeerBlock isn't blocking any comms while I was playing. Not sure what else to check.

Hey guys,
In version 1.18 I am trying to find out what is causing the problem of not submitting to leaderboard for some people. If your game is not submitting highscores to leaderboard it should generate error.txt file next to your exe file of the game. If your game has made that file, would you be kind and send it to my email (konrad.j.1900ATgmail.com) so I can fix this problem in future update. I'm not exactly sure of some of the contents of this text file, so it might contain some private info.
Its best to just send it to my email instead of posting it here. Thank you!

I also got a high score on one map and it didn't save. Kinda disappointing.

There is a chance that it is fixed now. (Don't have to redownload the game) I can't say for sure yet, since I cant get error myself. So if anyone doesn't get their scores submitted please play and let me know. I will clear leaderboard so you can get on it 🙂

Thanks!

Woah fun game. It's nice having few enough players that the highscore seems achievable, like when you play windows pinball against your family!
