This game is really the only reason I bought Touch.  These delays are killing me.

They are adding a TOS bridge which is cool!  I want a TNG bridge though!

Anyone stating they will play single player and generally steers away from MP games has missed the point and the point of VR in general.

The point of VR in general? I think not.

And it has been so long  🙂
Look, man. I only need to know one thing: where they are.

my PC has been really funny the last few nights.  My older 500gig Samsung evo 840 is for redundant and steam storage and my 500gig 850 ssd is for Windows and Oculus Rift stuff.  However the last few nights my 840 has failed to fire up on startup and i get a black screen telling me i need to insert another disk or something.  The thing is why would i be having that issue if the 850 is starting up correctly (where the Windows installation is)?

Either way taking the backside off and pressing the cable in to the SSD causes it to fire back up just fine.  I haven't had an issue since i pulled and seated the cable again.  But its a case where the drives are hot swap(able?) so its possible the cable pass through to the SSD is going.  There are 5 bays if that's the case so no big deal bit.  Hopefully I've fixed the problem

It really has, unfortunately I'm going through RMA processes with dabs/BT and Intel right now and not sure how long it's going to take. There was a time when I'd just throw money at replacing a motherboard & processor especially when they're 2 years old but not anymore... the joys of self-builds. Hope you've been VRing well in the mean time.

@Arock387, may all your problems be little ones!

@Daddoofly78 - not incorrect. Obviously you could launch the game and play on your own with AI filling in, but why would anyone want to? The best part of this game is the interaction of 4 people that don't have a clue how to fly a starship. It's comedy. Anyone stating they will play single player and generally steers away from MP games has missed the point and the point of VR in general.

I certainly hope you are wrong, the antics of 4 people that don't have a clue how to fly a starship will get boring and OLD in minutes.  I hope for UBIs sake they put more depth into the game than that.  I was not aware that the point of VR was so heavily focused on Multiplayer.  I tend to steer away from those games.  I like games like Superhot and Az Sunshine.  I guess I really am missing the point because I don't even know what you're referring to.

Ubisoft response I got about the i7 physics:

Hello! Intel helped us add cosmetic-only enhancements that take advantage of some extra functionality and power in the newer I7s. So this doesn't gate any features or gameplay with the Intel enhancements. Apologies for the confusion.

@falken76 - Arizona Sunshine is multiplayer, have you not tried it? Going through the campaign with someone else is great, adds a whole extra dimension. Single player stuff has its place but multiplayer is where the real fun is, that's why titles like Onward are so popular. I think most people will agree.
