This game is really the only reason I bought Touch.  These delays are killing me.

They are adding a TOS bridge which is cool!  I want a TNG bridge though!

my PC has been really funny the last few nights.  My older 500gig Samsung evo 840 is for redundant and steam storage and my 500gig 850 ssd is for Windows and Oculus Rift stuff.  However the last few nights my 840 has failed to fire up on startup and i get a black screen telling me i need to insert another disk or something.  The thing is why would i be having that issue if the 850 is starting up correctly (where the Windows installation is)?

Either way taking the backside off and pressing the cable in to the SSD causes it to fire back up just fine.  I haven't had an issue since i pulled and seated the cable again.  But its a case where the drives are hot swap(able?) so its possible the cable pass through to the SSD is going.  There are 5 bays if that's the case so no big deal bit.  Hopefully I've fixed the problem

Was the old disc your windows drive before a reinstall ? Could be it has the boot sector on there that it needs to read before it boots to windows on the other drive.

@Daddoofly78 - not incorrect. Obviously you could launch the game and play on your own with AI filling in, but why would anyone want to? The best part of this game is the interaction of 4 people that don't have a clue how to fly a starship. It's comedy. Anyone stating they will play single player and generally steers away from MP games has missed the point and the point of VR in general.

Says you. Under IDEAL circumstances it would be great, but inevitably there will be the wanker who wants to waste others time or people leaving mid game plus sitting in a lobby waiting for others to join sucks.
I expect many games will be with folks who have no idea how to play. And that will somehow be my problem. Reminds me of why I quit MMO's years ago. It's fun at first and heartwarming and all but will get old. I mean, it's a hurdle to get over and something you put up with to play multi player, but again...will get old.  When you want to make actual progress, playing with  people who think it's a big joke or leave in the middle of it is not what I call good times.
What I meant by "incorrect" was your statement that it is 4 player only. That is flat out incorrect. But as for what YOU prefer you can't impress on me what you prefer. And VR is most certainly NOT just about multi player.

This is possible because I did have Win10 installed on the 840 previously.  Although when i got my 850 I recall fully formatting both drives.  Although I also remember I had trouble reinstalling windows because it kept saying it was the wrong format.  Eventually I got it to kick.

@e_m_d88  - so presumably it will appear on OH at that time? And are we sure that Steam and OH will be in same universe for joining games?

It should be @LordQuake  I know Eagle Flight is cross play.  And I have seen the game listed inside the Oculus library if you search for it while in the app. And on the Ubisoft forum they say the game unlocks Tues 12:01am EST.

The reddit thread of the early access then taken away  was reporting that oculus home players were playing with psvr players so i will assume it is cross server yes

Look, man. I only need to know one thing: where they are.
