Interesting how the above list does differ much from my own preferences. But I don't get to chose the games on the list - apart from setting up some criteria to secure some quality.
I think the 10 games I like the most in 2024 are (no Early Access, but I added some VR supported games too):
1. Behemoth: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/1hddlx3/impressions_from_skydances_behemoth_screenshots...
2. Subside: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/1fq16fm/subside_has_97_positive_ratings_on_steam_i_took...
3. MADiSON: https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1cpf0r0/madison_vr_impressions_from_maybe_the_scari...
4. Riven VR: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/1dp5sk3/riven_has_launched_with_vr_support_and_has_93/
5. Blade & Sorcery.
6. Tin Hearts: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/1bg9iel/tin_hearts_vr_has_launched_in_full_version_more...
7. Underdogs: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/1aq1oe2/underdogs_is_awesome_with_144_fps_and_you_do_no...
8. Vampire the Masquerade: Justice: https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1ao90li/impressions_from_the_pcvr_version_of_vampir...
9. Whitewater VR - Extreme Kayaking Adventure.
10. (Shared) Metro Awakening and Alien: Rogue Incursion.
My favorite early access 2024 would no doubt be Bootstrap Island.

I just bought and tested Extreme Climbing, Maestro and Clone Drone in the Hyperdome.
Just a word of warning - Extreme Climbing does not work well with the Index. Or that game is just of a very poor quality, even if inexpensive. Graphics were very poor too, I cannot recommend that game with the Index.
Maestro looked like a Quest port - and had no left-handed support (I'm left-handed), but otherwise works fine with the Index. But I'm not really into that game and refunded.
Clone Drone in the Hyperdome may be fun for those into the game's very special humor. Coming from Behemoth, I felt the combat in Hyperdome was very poor - but some seem to love it. Performance was fine with the Index, but it seems your arms are only animated in 30 fps or so. I refunded that game too - my backlog is too big, new games need to impress me fast.
