Fun thing - I guess due to Facebook restrictions, devs can't use the word "suicide", thus the game is just called "The GUY"
Get it here - only 10 bucks:
This is the more correct incorrect trailer though:
- interstingly, I can no longer find the game on Steam. Seems like it has been removed. So this is now an Oculus exclusive?
Suicide Guy should also soon be available for the Quest. Note I have not tried the game nor do I intend to do so, I just thought it was funny that the devs had to change the title - and this post is to clear up that confusion. The trailer makes little sense if you're unaware what's really going on.

Just solved the mystery, I think - why Suicide Guy no longer is on Steam:

In short, it seems the dev manipulated the reviews:
"MalmbolM shared a post, admitting to having manipulating the reviews. IIRC he said he made some fake accounts and left some positive reviews".
This was in December 2020, still the game has not returned to Steam.

This Reddit post about the game in the Rift Store got upvoted more than 1,300 times

- but there are only 3 ratings in the store?!
I firmly believe there's a straight association between number of ratings and number of sales. This looks to me as if tons of users like the game, but no one buys it. The amount of tire kickers must be gigantic - but kicking tires and never buying cars will slowly kill developers. If you like a game - buy it - support the devs. 2c.
