After spending some time with support I can honestly say this is a joke. I have yet since purchase to find one working product in the occulus store. The only things the agents know how to do is tell you to restart, reinstall over and over. To be honest I consider this entire system a scam and would never do business with them again. To make it worse I have seen that their own employees will chime in on post saying they’ve never experience any problems whatsoever. Like no one can read the tags on them it’s truly amazing. I have seen posts on here sitting for months without a reply from support. Probably because they’re too busy trying to make people think they’re active users with no problems. The only use I have gotten out of this system was from 3rd party software they quickly tell you they don’t recommend. Not even sure how this company is in business but I guess paying for reviews and people to lie on your forums is a better option then actually providing a decent product and service. So unless you’re willing to spend your days constantly dealing with the multitude of problems and waiting for the community to find work arounds then spend your money else where as this isn’t worth your time unboxing. I am sure this will be taken down but hopefully if anyone in the fence sees this they will think twice before purchasing or refund their system rather than deal with what is laughingly called support.

Just ignore him he's probably using a charger cable instead of link 😂... I can't tell you enough how much this community has helped me today. If it wasn't for a staff member replying to customer regarding a msg that comes up saying social platform lost and it kept turning off on off on, I'd be a mess. I've had this 5 month nearly the headset and tonight I've luckily typed in my issue and got EXACT details on how to get sorted cos to alot if ppl it looked fried !!! I did a factory reset and got info to turn on cloud backup id never have known this without this community.. it's reviews like yours that put ppl off but it could be some1 like me that's benefited no end in ways you can't even imagine... I hate seeing bs like this on here.. and no I'm no ex employee or friend nothing. Just some1 who knows a good thing when i see 1

They saved my bacon earlier mate this I'd a 1 off issue make sure you've got current equipment cables software etc b4 you go saying its all meta

Yes I am sure I got the wrong cable that was why I was unable to download even some occulus software. I am also sure that it was also causing the guardian to continually reposition, or the headset to constantly drop airlink, or the sound to constantly go out. Really betting the cable was why I was losing air link. Perhaps one of the 5 or so times I was told to reinstall you would have thought if updating was a problem the so helpful support would have mentioned that. If you’re referring to my system well I can guarantee my drivers are up to date. Perhaps you just missed how two separate meta 2’s had the same problems and got the same replies of restart/reinstall over and over. Once they were told that didn’t work after a few attempts they had exhausted all means of support and sent one link for each meta. One link for steam and the other for I believe I was told side quest. Now correct me if I am wrong but you supposedly said you got exact support that fixed your problem well exact support was not forthcoming hence my reason for making this post. When not one but two people get passed to other companies to fix an issue involving meta with only reinstall/restart being the offered advice I think I will leave a bad review. Now this will be my last post I returned both metas got a valve index and couldn’t be happier. I can see without everything being blurry, no restarting the headset over and over to get the simplest thing to work, oh and no issues with tracking or boundaries. Thanks for making me realize spending the extra money was well worth it.

Dude the product is bad and support is worse. They're so smarmy all the time. Even official quest support through email is god awful. I can only imagine how bad the 3 is gonna be. I am switching to an index or something. It's been months and they can't fix their own mistake of breaking pc streaming and running around telling us it's our fault lol.
