The Thread of Broken Meta/Oculus Homes - after update 53 Meta has disabled all Homes

Seems like Meta decided to tear down all Homes with update 53 - with no warning. My Home has been working for about 5 years, I'm extremely unhappy to lose my Home. 

Some months ago I took a few pictures of my Home - feel free to add your shots or video of lost Oculus Homes to this thread.

I really never got tired of that view

It kinda felt like a real home - and depending on your income, could look a lot better than your home in the real world - this effect should not be underestimated

My Home was nothing special, many have spent many more hours decorating their homes. I really hope we soon can get our homes back.

In this thread there's a post describing how to get back your home - I have not tried it, but it should work.

Congrats by reviving the Homes, well done !! ♥👏
May i suggest that someone will backup those files from that google drive, as if the OP will delete them, all is lost maybe !!!
In case homes is still working, have you visited others too? Can that still be done? are their homes also wiped/erased or are the Homes just hidden with the new updates?

Great forum posts. I have been working through this problem but hit 1 snag. I cannot find the v37 Neon provided. I would love to get this set up and can even make a tutorial on how to do it and host the files for the public. I just need that one piece. If you can provide me the download either through a google drive link or even a one time download link I would appreciate it.

I Think I have V37 and only v37 from that oculus old app list that I happened to download for getting home back, But I could not really get it to work. I uploaded it to a google drive for everyone on this forum. I hope this helps and I am looking forward to the tutorial.

Sorry, everyone, but Meta has removed Home from the servers. It now doesn't matter what version you have. Our home spaces, collections, and uploads have all been removed from their servers and has been replaced with an endless empty white grid.

That is sad. But thank you for letting me know. It saves me some heartache downgrading to v37.

Wow that’s amazing! Meta is faster at getting rid of the one way to access oculus home (that maybe 10-15 people will see). Than they are at fixing literally any issue on quest.

Steam VR is a viable option. Steam has an app that helps you build your own house. FYI.

Steam home is not comparable with the old oculus homes....at least not for me.
I'll never understand why Meta destroyed this amazing feature.
