Time Rifters - First Person Shooter - Released on Steam

Ever wanted to play a game where you control all of your teammates? Now you can in this single player co-op shooter!

Time Rifters is a single player co-op shooter where 'time rifts' allow you to be your own teammates. In each arena you will have 4 chances to defeat as many enemies as possible, but you won't be alone because with each new life you'll be joined by replays of your previous lives. Strategically plan your attack with yourself in the past and future.

Time Rifters was built from the ground up for the Oclus Rift and was a finalist in the Oculus/IndieCade 2013 VR Jam. We think VR games will be a big hit once the consumer Oculus Rift is released. Until then we are making sure that the game works great without a Rift too (but it's way more awesome in VR).

  • Single Player Co-op

  • Let's Replay system (asynchronous multi-player mode)

  • Developed for standard monitors & the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset

  • 6 Upgradable Weapons

  • 3 Episodes, with 5 arenas each

  • High Score Boards

  • Custom-made soundtrack

Genius to pair Time Rifters with this gameplay style. I'm looking forward to having a go at this. 🙂

The advancement style reminds me of Heroclickers. Might need to nickname this Time Sinkers because I just put in 3 hours messing with it.

Kind of wish that the "treasure" monsters had more hitpoints (maybe 3x to 5x more than other monsters at that level) and also more gold. That could justify spending a double gold boost when they pop up. For now, it seems better to save a gold boost till.

Likewise, do you think we should be able to chose previous levels so that we can farm. Seems more fun to farm the level prior to a boss so there's more chances for the treasure monster. If not, can we have the option to tell our "time ghosts" to aim at blocks with least hit points first ie red, then white and last is gold? It'd make farming bosses less annoying.

Seems like an addictive clicker game. I'd advise getting this thing on a portable device ASAP. It's easy to see this selling for $1.99 or so.

We're just testing an update right now that will allow you to grind the level before a boss, so you'll have a chance at the rainbow block enemies.

We've received a number of requests for the addition of a targeting system so it's something that we're going to look at adding as part of the long game.
