From the co-creator of Rick and Morty comes Trover Saves the Universe.

Your dogs have been dognapped by a beaked lunatic named Glorkon who stuffed them into his eye holes and is using their life essence to destroy the universe. You're partnered with Trover, a little purple eye-hole monster who isn’t a huge fan of working or being put in the position of having to save the universe. He’s also not that big a fan of you quite frankly, and neither am I. (Jk, you’re great)

Only you and Trover can save everything in this bizarre comedy adventure, created by Justin Roiland!

Those later upgrades really make things more interesting, eh?   I mean, sure, you could just continue having Trover run around and do all the work, but it's a lot of fun to

crush things under blocks  or mind/chair-grab defeated enemies' weapons and throw them at each other.  The mushroom anklebiters and cube-frog-things can even be thrown, if you have Trover power-attack them into the air first.

Don't know how I feel about the ending.  I mean, the reward for collecting all the power-babies is pretty funny, kind of a jab at the achievement-hunting mentality altogether?   But like, the ending in general just made me go  "Oh... okay."

Fortunately, Trover kind of teases at more levels or something being added in the future? And there's that "Free DLC coming soon" notice on the main screen, so... maybe the ending we get isn't even the real ending? Or they're just messing with us, again.  After that "giant bird" monologue, I'm not sure what to believe.

P.S.   Turns out the "censored" mode just beeps out the F-word.  That's it.  It doesn't even censor any of the other cusswords, so I hope nobody actually mistakes it for a "child safe" mode, lol.   Like seriously, I won't tell you how to raise your kids, but they're definitely going to get in trouble at school if they go repeating anything they hear in this game.

Well, I'm sure the stuff about masturbation, shit, massaging/licking assholes and cold-blooded murder of innocent lifeforms is totally ok with kids nowadays 😄  

BTW, SDE is really bad on the CV1 in this game, because you stand still. Of course you can rotate the chair - or go up or down - but basically you stand still. Rift shines with high ss when everything is moving using full locomotion, but you don't do that in Trover, so SDE gets max impact, unfortunately. This game may look especially awesome using Rift-S, O+ and Index.

Yea I've had no complaints on the ODyssey. Looks great and is very colorful. I've laughed so many times in this game. It really appeals to my sense of humor. My favorite is one that happened early on when you're doing that stupid puzzle with the green blocks turning to red stuff and he's 

Like fuck this stupid puzzle, we're breaking the door down.. Because that's probably what I would do in real life lol.

Today Trover has an average rating of 98% based on 27 ratings - and it's the 2nd best-selling game in the Oculus Store.

Strange that Oculus does very little to promote Trover, while in the Rift section of the store a horrible super-low-poly phoneVR game like Swords of Gargantua gets nice spotlight...  Actually I've started checking if a Rift game is available for low-end platforms like Quest/Go/GearVR, and if it is I don't buy it (maybe I will for a few select titles, though).

So I love this game and everything but am I the only one experiencing a shit ton of freezing during this game?  Im not having issues with any other games.  Just this one.  and its freezing a lot.  I have tried uninstalling the game and also oculus completely and reinstalling

I haven't experienced any freezes during the game at all. And I push the game to the limit, all settings maxed out. I'm using Forceware 417.xx, not the newest driver. Win10 64 bit, not updated to the latest version either (if it works don't fix it...).

I have a GTX 1080ti. The game isnt even maxed out. It runs perfect then just locks up. I get a Unreal engine fatal error tossed on the screen sometimes. And sometimes i dont get a crash report.  But its crashing a lot towards the end of the game

Weird, I don't see signatures on the mobile? I have a 1080ti and will try to push the game a little harder.. Right now I'm doing high settings and 125% resolution without a problem.
