So I love this game and everything but am I the only one experiencing a shit ton of freezing during this game? Im not having issues with any other games. Just this one. and its freezing a lot. I have tried uninstalling the game and also oculus completely and reinstalling
I haven't experienced any freezes during the game at all. And I push the game to the limit, all settings maxed out. I'm using Forceware 417.xx, not the newest driver. Win10 64 bit, not updated to the latest version either (if it works don't fix it...).
Whta GPU do you have?
See my sig below - GTX 1080.
Weird, I don't see signatures on the mobile? I have a 1080ti and will try to push the game a little harder.. Right now I'm doing high settings and 125% resolution without a problem.

When I first tried to get it running on my Rift, the game just launched in a 2D window, no matter what VR Options I chose in the game's settings menu on the Epic launcher. Then I noticed the Epic Launcher updating. When that finished, I tried to run the game again and it ran great in VR.
That was last week. I came home from vacation and tried to fire it up again. Now it's back to 2D. I have options in the Epic Launcher to launch in Steam VR, Oculus VR, and OSVR modes. Only OSVR mode will show a hover state for my mouse. None of them work in VR anymore, just goes to a 2D screen. I've added the game to my Steam library too, and added the -vr to the run parameters. Nothing works, it keeps displaying on a 2D screen.
Anyone have any ideas?

"Trover Saves the Universe felt safer as a dual game, with the main problem being marketing and messaging. Although the game released in May, there are still those who don’t know that it can be played on a normal television. So, in addition to overcoming misconceptions about Trover, Squanch will be focusing on making more traditional games moving forward.
The studio won’t eschew virtual reality entirely, but Squanch is no longer limited to making VR games.
“We have some really amazing stuff coming that I’m so fucking excited about,” said Roiland. “It’s all across different genres and types of games, but none of them are going to be VR first. At best, they’ll be VR second.”

Maybe the problem was that Trover without full locomotion, smooth turning and real hand interactions never felt like a true VR game (or it was PSVR at best, which was their primary target - in PCVR you play Trover using a PS4 controller, which may put some hardcore PCVR enthusiasts off) - and it could be played in 2D too indicating that the game wasn't fully committed to neither 2D nor VR.
