I´m having problems with the most recent update v76 (and maybe v75) with the Quest 2. I´m unable to restart the Quest 2 after running the update. The Quest 2 shows a dark screen after showing the start logo (Meta ´M´), runs forever, gets very hot and the fan spins up and down all the time.
Resetting the headset with the power button until the chip icon with the green progress bar appears, helps, so that the headset works again, but only on v74, not v76.
Basically I´m unable to update the system on the Quest 2.
I also own a Quest 3, where the update works fine and I am able to start and run the Quest 3, but not Quest 2.
I have the same problem since Saturday after some update. I have tried everything (factory reset, hard reset, update tool) but unsuccessfully and my headset is still the same, after the logo blank screen. Can you tell me how exactly did you manage to get chip with progress bar on screen which fixed your ishue?
Sure, just hold the power button for about 1 minute until the chip appears. For me the startup screen with the ´M´ logo appeared a few times until this screen appeared. For me it solved starting the Quest 2 at least, but I still can´t update to v76. Hope this helps...
