VR player with playlist ?

HiThere_

Excluding full desktop applications like "Virtual Desktop" and "Big Screen Beta", Is there a VR player that can read playlists ?

UPDATE !

After the April 2017 update, DeoVR Video Player (available in the Oculus Store) has added two virtual buttons to it's menu to skip to the next/previous video.

It's still not very convenient because you have to :
1) Summon the virtual Menu
2) Locate and aim at the virtual button with your headset
3) Press a button to select that virtual button

But while not as convenient as an "auto-skip to next video at the end of the current video" option, or mapping a physical gamepad button to be able skip to the next video ten times faster, it's still as good as you get as far as watching a batch of short videos in a row on any VR player I tried so far 🙂

Never mind playlists, Cyril. You want a VR player that's capable of playing anything without falling arse over tit - those laugh-a-minute sync issues, stutterings, and freezings that are ruinous to a fellow's enjoyment.

Whirligig. For smooth video in every conceivable format.

I used Whirligig, but I prefer DEO player for it's thumbstick based controls (and is now available directly from the Oculus Store). Both are great for watching a film.

But I want a separate VR player for the sake of reading a bunch of (very) short videos in a row, from the same directory or from a playlist.

Off the top of my head I can think of two auto or continuous play players - MaxVR and LVR, both unsuitable unless you want pay £10 for the privilege or go back to an ancient runtime.

DEO player has never not worked for me. Sometimes it gets set flat, or 180 instead of 360, but it plays as smooth as any live vr experience I ever have had.

Ditto DEO!
