Vr question

Hey this is probably not a very good question, but i'm in a bit of a pickle.

I have the meta quest 1 and thinking about upgrading to the quest 2, but my friend has reccomended that I just get a Vr ready computer, my prediciment is deciding which one to get, should I spend the money and get an entirely new headset or should I just get a Vr ready PC to play PCVr games on.

(p.s, the main reason i'm getting a new headset is cause there are more and more games being released just on the quest 2 and not on the quest 1 e.g. blade and sorcery nomad and bonelabs)

Any advice is apprieciated.

Hey, why the Quest 2 and not the Quest 3?

Were you happy with quest 1? then you will be even happier with the 2 and probably be amazed with the 3

even without a computer. However, I use a PC with a 4090 and a 7800x3D, and you have completely new options, but it is also absolutely recommended without a PC. My personal recommendation is 100% the Quest 3 or wait until next year for the Quest 3 lite. I wouldn't buy Quest 2 again. Then you quickly have the same problem, because when the first Quest 3 optimized games come out, the difference becomes significantly larger than with 1 and 2

I agree with @Katsuno221

I would highly recommend getting a Quest 3, not a 2 - you'll be blown away going from the OG Quest.

Then save up for a good PC - you'll probably be satisfied with the 3 for a long time.

Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3
