I've been wanting to get this title for months now, but now that it is finally here I am hesitating because I can't decide whether to buy through Oculus or on Steam. I've been trying to find out but does this game allow cross-play between the two? It requires a decent amount of people just to play, so it'd be nice to find out if it includes players from both Steam and Oculus, as well as being all set in case a friend purchases a copy from whichever client I don't so we are still able to game together. Anyone know the answer to this?
Yeah, Ubisoft announce a couple of weeks ago that all their games will support cross platform play. So that includes Werewolves, Eagle Flight and Star Trek (when released).
@MBchrono You were right; just came across a new article that was released today confirming. Thanks for letting me know! Definitely makes me happy that it is cross-play between not just Steam and Oculus but PSVR as well, that's awesome.

@HowlUK What are you talking about? It does use Touch. You can also use the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 Gamepad or Vive Wands. I've seen plenty of videos that show in game action and Touch is very present. Is it necessary? No. But it allows you to do so much more in it in my opinion.

@MBchrono When and why did they change that? In literally every video I've seen of the game play it has had the users playing it with Touch? And if you check on Steam or Oculus it does have Touch listed as an option to play with...
@MBchrono Or it did.... I just refreshed the Oculus page and now it says "Gamepad required". It was claiming Oculus Touch AND Gamepad a second ago for me. Weird.
