I’ll be honest I’m one of those AAA scumbags who loves a cinematic, highly polished experience. I enjoy some indie games but it kinda bugs me when the menus are terrible and the frame rate tanks because the devs haven’t had time for optimisation.

I’m currently playing Half Life Alyx and I adore just how much love and care Valve put into the title, there are glitches but they’re few and far between and everything just feels masterfully engineered.

So, what do you think are the most polished AAA games in VR?

Hey hey @ugann, and welcome to the forums! I can completely understand preferring an in-depth and quality experience, especially in VR.

One of my personal favorites is the I Expect You to Die series. In these games, you're acting as a secret agent that has to navigate some crazy scenarios by solving puzzles, avoiding traps, and escaping. Honestly this game is such a joy to play from the style of the animation to the funny moments in each situation you find yourself in. (And to be honest, it's just always fun to play spy!)

I think this is such a great question, and I'm looking forward to other suggestions the community has!

Make sure you smash that Kudos button!

I think the Mad God modded version of Skyrim VR expessialy with the AI where you can talk to everyone in the game. and luke ross modded Cyberpunk 2077 VR are pretty amazing titles. Half life alyx is amazing. And VRChat on PCVR is amazing

Both Lone Echo 1 and 2 and Half Life Alex.

For a fully Quest 3 standalone game, Red Matter 2 and Red Matter (the first), in this order are very good showcases of what the headset can do. If you liked HL:Alyx as much as I did, you'll appreciate RM2 and RM.

Red Matter 2 is far more polished than almost everything I tried on Quest 3, with some graphic effects you would not expect from this headset.
