Why are there so few bullets to get in Arizona Sunshine?

I found some bullets in cars but they're still not enough to shoot alll the zombies.  It takes a few tries to kill a zombie especially if you're not great at shotting and even headshots are not necesarily kills. So are there any other places to search for bullets?

Bullets are sparse, but there are enough. Usually in cars, desk drawers, etc. if you search around.

Im going to say its because the Courior from New Vegas already looted the area on his way to taking out Ceasars Legion!

It also varies with difficulty level--if you set it lower, there are more bullets to find. I find there are more than enough for the basic pistols (I'm usually leaving plenty behind because I'm at max capacity), but I can't quite keep stocked for the full-auto guns.
