Just noticed this on the store, seems to have come out of nowhere with little to no marketing from Oculus.

Only £5.99 and all the user reviews are 5/5! A long game too, apparently.

To save you some time, there's no double secret ending (125% is everything).  VR budgets are still pretty small, so we crammed as much as we could in (this was actually the smallest game I've ever worked directly on.  We worked 80 hour weeks to get it to where it is).  I'm hoping it does well enough that we can do a sequel that has more to it :).

The biggest secret is getting to the Shadow Magic upgrade (which also is awesomely fun to me).

That being said, I still have lots of fun trying to speed run on nightmare mode.  My best is 2h 5mins, but I still die a lot.  (I've made about 10 runs of it)

Ah, well thats good to know.  It was a really fun little game and I would absolutely play a lengthier expanded experience like it in the future.  It was well worth my money.

The only complaints I really had were:

1) The map you could see when turning your head playing was cool, but impossible to see anything that isn't close to you, while the map in your book showed you the layout, it didn't give you any info on the items or connections between rooms and was really tiny.  I think the mini map needed to be a version of the big in game map that you could zoom/scroll around.

2) As fun as the game was (and it was really fun!), it was a bit more linear than I was expecting.  Outside of getting the secrets, you never really had to double back, everything just kind went one way.  For example there was no like, going back to the starting area to now reach a ledge that unlocked a whole new area in the direction or things like that you'd see in metroid or something.  For that reason it felt a little light on the exploration aspect.

3)Conversely, It was really tedious at times to go back to the starting areas to look for secrets you might have missed as its quite a long travel and theres no real warp.  Plus the linear horizontal nature removes any natural loop backs and such.

4)  The ending 😛  It was really unclear if it was the end or I was missing something as it gives you another ability and theres no credits or cutscene or anything that really says "The End".

With all that nitpicking aside, I can't wait to see what you guys do next!

Aww ... well it's still a pretty good game regardless. I have to ask though, why let the player go beyond 100%? Were you originally anticipating having such a secret in the game?

Amazing game! I failed a few times trying to beat the third boss fight so I went back and, with the magic sensing ability, realized that I'd missed a lot. I seem to have 12 mana slots, 12 life slots and all but one statue upgrade point and I'm wondering if anyone is willing to share the secret to that...

I'm talking about the question mark (presumably a statue) that's at Logan's mansion in a rectangular area of the map to the lower left of his giant statue outside. I tried going into the well. I tried coming up through the library. I tried going to the right in the room with the two torch throwers and two arrow firers and the seemingly invisible ledge on the right wall that's literally right next to the question mark showing magic and tried every spell. I've tried jumping off the statue in hopes of falling in that way. It just seems impossible.

I just want to add to this thread and say, witchblood is AWESOME! Just beat it today and LOVED it. You guys better make a sequel! Loved the idea and the artwork/presentation. Would gladly pay more for a longer second game.

IMHO one of the best games on the rift, this is exactly up my alley
