might want to look at staying away. after purchasing it through oculus, rift sand trying to jump through the hoops of running and registering. Oculus won't start the game because frontier say I do not have an account, although I can request changing my password on the account the claim I don't have and it changes it. but according to them I do not own the game and if I wish to play I must purchase it again. I'm tired of purchasing games from oculus only to not be able to play them. can't even try for the refund since oculus wants you to contact them and won't give you a way to do it.

Ya, usually best to buy this from the Steam store.  Much less expensive and it often comes on sale for~$10.  Also, much more regular updates with the Steam version.

If you actually cannot get a refund from Oculus, maybe contact the developer and see if he will give you a Steam Key.

Same here, this issue is known since 5 f******* years .................. But you know it when you bought the game.......

It's a shame ...........

I contacted Frontier about it since Oculus refused to do anything. Frontier activated it for me to play straight and through steam free of charge. Oculus still has yet to fix it. but with steam I can use my rift s to play.

@paxtalon So, Like Oculus suggested, contact the developer (Frontier) and get this sorted out like you did.  The problem cannot normally be sorted out with Oculus because developers must provide the fixes/updates, so don't blame Oculus imho.

However, I've heard that Oculus sometimes make it harder than it should be for some developers to do this.  I'm not sure if this is true but it's good to see the developer (Frontier) helped you out.  Very good of them imho.

seeing as oculus did nothing but still took the money. to this day they still sell and advertise that you can play this on oculus without third party software. seems like they're continuing the lie in order to take money from unsuspecting people and refuse to take responsibility. just shove it off on other people to fix.
