I think a lot of us bought the oculus quest 2 as we didn't have a ps4/ps5 or a gaming pc. So oculus please add Minecraft Bedrock Edition to the oculus store as not all of us can side quest because we either got a low end laptop/pc or none. The windows store already has Minecraft Bedrock for oculus and oculus is pretty much a 'console' so it is compatible please see this and add Minecraft bedrock because a section of oculus community would like to see it.

ps. If a person already owns windows 10 edition it should be free to them.

Thank you

Oculus User(:

It's not quite that easy.

Oculus can't add it to the store because first Microsoft needs to actually make a Quest 2 version.

The Bedrock edition of Minecraft with Oculus support is PC only. It's developed for Windows and needs a gaming PC to run.

The Quest 2 is a mobile device running android, it's not compatible with that version (unless you connect it to a gaming PC).

There's an android version of Minecraft Bedrock, but it has no VR.

So it's up to Microsoft to merge the VR support from the PC version with the non VR android version, then submit it to Oculus.

You could sideload the GearVR Edition to your headset, but it has no motion controls.

If you look on Minecraft.net and go to buy Minecraft, on console part click other it gives you the option for oculus. So I am wondering if that is enough for them to put it on the oculus store.

That is the Rift version of Minecraft. It still needs a PC to play, it's not Quest 2 native.

Sideloading is your friend, someone has an apk of the questcraft.

I have Minecraft on Windows 10 and an Oculus Quest 2. Do you know of a way to get it on the headset?

Hey @AceHoodwacker. We understand how fun Minecraft can be and you wanting to play it on the Meta Quest 2. As @kojack stated in the thread, Minecraft isn't available on the Meta Quest store, and you'll have to connect your headset to your computer to play it.

However we do have PC requirements that you must meet in order to use the PC VR feature. If you meet all of those requirements you can download the PC software and get started on your PC VR journey.

We hope this gives you some more clarity to you playing Minecraft in VR.

I have tried to play Minecraft VR with my PC. And I also have a gaming computor that is pretty new. My oculus saw the computor but wouldn't connect to it.

Any ideas why it won't connect? If so is there a way to fix it?
