Sharing DK2 version of Jam submission allowed?

Hi,

Are we allowed to share our creations as DK2 demos so that people can try them out without having a Note 4? Also, after the contest is over, are we allowed to publish these VR Jam submissions to the Oculus Share website for free as a DK2 game? I couldn't see this question anywhere and I missed the opportunity to ask this on the AMA Reddit yesterday. The reason I'm asking really is to get volunteers trying my work out on DK2 to check for bugs. I haven't tried yet, but have heard the Gear VR SDK allows you to create compatible games with DK2 easy (build the Direct to Rift exes).

I'm all ready to go, can't wait to sink my teeth in this weekend really good. Best of luck to everyone! 🙂

Hi there! Great question. 🙂

You can share your submission with others to test but it has to be after Milestone 4 is complete.

After the VR Jam is over, you're also allowed submit for approval to be published on Share.

Does that help? 🙂

This helps a lot, thank you! Ok, so I'll wait till after Milestone 4 is complete. I submitted Milestone 1, have the unity 4.6.3 free installed and test built a couple projects on my very own Gear VR. I'm excited! Thanks for organizing guys!

If you're interested in checking out mine, it's called: "Man Overboard!" My brother and I are doing it together. So nervous to have these amazing smart people looking at our work. I'm also really excited though, the Gear VR is so fun to use and pretty much a commercial product already as far as I'm concerned.

Oh very cool! That's great stuff to hear. I haven't been able to actually try Gear VR, (hopefully next week in Berlin at Amaze). Right now I'm building on DK2.
