My name is Nathan Thorin, I'm the founder of GalactaVision LLC.
We're primarily focused on VR development, have done public speaking on VR, and demo'd the DK1 and DK2 to hundreds of people in our area of the US, centered around Madison, WI.
We love working with the public, being VR earlyvangelists, and are entering this year's VR jam with a concept for a game set in space. We have some people that are willing to test for us, but do not own a Gear VR quite yet.
If you choose us to be a Hub we have access to some very awesome venues that we could make the equipment available to other developers in the area.
Madison, WI is home to some large and small game development houses, including PerBlue, Raven Software, Human Head Studios, and a handful of up and coming smaller studios. From the history I've seen, ID software had a short stay in Madison during pivotal times. It also hosts some really amazing schools, is the capital of the state, and has a bustling downtown area that is always filled with students from all over the world.
We are very close to Milwaukee, and Chicago, and have connections to the schools and industry there as well.
