gear vr login

I'm planning to participate in the game jam, developing without a gear vr. Never used one. I have a dk2 though.
I read that we might need a "gear VR login". what is this?
can I get by without one?

I would guess it's just your Oculus account (same one as the forum) but I can double-check for you.

Is it the same account used for this forum? Sorry, I've never used the Oculus store on the Note 4. Is it possible to log into the Oculus Store without a gear VR or a Note 4?

Yes, its the same account (it's called Oculus ID).

If you can sign in here, then you should be fine.
