Hello @MetaQuestSupport ,
I want to profile my WebXR application with the OVR Metrics Tool like stated in the docs and record some sessions. After running the app there are no CSV files saved. It works properly for native applications.
Is it possibly that the recording for browser applications is not supported or am I missing some steps here?
Best regards,
Steffen

Hi there,
CSV recording is currently not supported for Browser (including webXR), but something our teams have flagged for exploration.

I’m experiencing an issue while trying to profile my WebXR application using the OVR Metrics Tool, as outlined in the documentation. While the tool works perfectly for native applications, no CSV files are being saved when running my WebXR app.
Could you confirm if performance recording is supported for browser-based (WebXR) applications, or is there an additional step I might be missing to enable this functionality?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,

Hi Steffen, it sounds like the OVR Metrics Tool might not support recording for browser-based WebXR applications. You could try checking the browser settings or verifying if there are any additional steps for web applications in the documentation. Hope that helps!
