Easter Magic Workshop

Every year, I plan to release something creative for Easter. I've launched a mobile app to do Scrapbooking (not live anymore), and did an app to paint a 3d egg (web, social). We were working as a team on the other battle project, but it was hard to work at the same time in one world, and it was Easter, so we split forces a bit, and worked on both.

Initially, I wanted to do some active Easter fun + painting, but in the end we decided to concentrate on the painting part. I personally do love painting miniatures and do love snow globes, so the goal was clear. I was trying to achieve proper control of the brush for every platform. And I hope I did well. The idea of focused control came on the day before the last day of the competition.

So, please check my world and give some feedback on the brush control.

It should work in a "natural" way. You can touch the objects directly or shoot at them.

If you want to try the Focused mode, go up to the Terrace (on the right of the entrance).

P.S. Thank you all for the live sessions and tutorials, they inspired me every time. After the Masked flowers session, I've added a watering activity, etc 😎

this is a cute idea and it seems that all the kids on meta would love this - i couldn't get the painting to work?

In VR it's natural.

On web and mobile, you first need to dip the brush tip into the buckets around the Globe. Using the fire button to aim at the bucket can be tricky. After that, you paint white objects by just touching them or by shooting at them from afar.

OR! There is a terrace to the right, and there is a glass globe where you can start the Focused interaction from above.
