Both Rift and Vive have dire warnings about exposing the lenses to
sunlight (and getting them wet and probably feeding them after
midnight...), but I've never seen anyone complain about light damage to
the headset. Is it a real thing, something about...
I see in the comments that the latest stock of the Rift+Touch bundles
are coming in a single box (albeit without Xbone controller). Is the new
box as excellent, sturdy and downright sexy as the original Rift box?
I'm tempted to source one (eBay etc) ...
Normally the first thing to try would be ALVR,
https://github.com/polygraphene/ALVR , but I believe it requires the
software to be mirrored to be running in SteamVR so you may be short of
luck. Worth a look.

In Beat Saber, when you press the set height button in the settings menu
it works out your headset's *current* height off the ground and puts it
to that. Which is why it says "check your room setup first".So you can
fake it up 10cm by standing on tip...
