anyone else not getting responses from oculus after they say they will
investigate its been over 48 hours from the time this is posted since
they last told me and i sent an update asking about it and i have not
gotten any responses yet
so i had my quest 2 since lanuary of 2021 as a gift and just today while
hanging with friends i was adjusting my strap a bit and the puller
decided to break in half thus making the quest 2 unwearable
so i have a quest 2 and the anker 3.0 cable they reccomended and heres
my issuemy brothers computer which i normally link to pushes out 2-3
gigs to the cable and runs fine (abeit lower specs)then my mothers
computer which has better specs only pushes...
so i have a quest 2 wired to my pc via the anker cable oculus
reccomended and my headsets mic doesnt pick up anything on settings in
the pc it shows its stuck at 50% volume pickup and doesnt move when i
talk can someone help me
so i wear glasses and i have to use the spacer but no matter what my
glasses are always up against the headsets lenses which kinda make me
paranoid and i worry if this continues it could either damage my glasses
or my quest 2 does anyone have any tip...
are you using either the official link cable or anker 3.0 cable and if
so i have a couple questions1: did you update your graphics drivers?2:
is the cable plugged into a usb 3.0 port (the inside of the port should
be blue)
if you can for a desktop plug in to the motherboard via usb 3.0 (i use
the anker 3.0 cable they reccomend) then boot up the oculus software on
the pc and plug in the headset be sure to update graphics drivers for
best performance
quest 2 has really good resolution and no need for base stations either
just be aware that due to the hardware you have the refresh rate and
resolution may be locked at a specific number but if you use steam vr
you can adjust that video resolution ea...
