8hr charge time?

Hi all. With the official elite strap and extended battery, is it supposed to take nearly 8 hours to charge both from 0 to 100% using the original charger ? Without the strap it only took a few hours.Please advise. Thanks

Issues last night playing the new ghost busters game. Tracking kept losing the controllers then blank screen then back again. Quite annoying
