Is this an AI bot? It's absurd to suggest the Q3 can only play 4K video.
I am able to get 8k playback regularly with no problems other than that
it stutters on startup and is not capable of smooth looping.
I've been struggling with this as well. No problem with Quest2 or
QuestPro. Something is different in the Quest3 video playback
architecture. Q3 can play 8k video just fine once it has stuttered
around a bit.
Reviving this after a long delay because I'm running into this too.
Created a demo for trade-shows and sometimes wifi is simply not
possible. Although my app doesn't require an internet connection, Oculus
claims it does and refuses to launch the app ...
