Not literally (before you all do )!I sent my Rift S back for refund
as it just wouldn't 'play nice' - flashes, wouldn't start up without
multiple restarts of the software or reboots of the PC. Positively, the
sound was great and apart from the rabb...
My AMD 7900 XTX gets the error message too - and has 'issues' with steam
performance somewhat. But, with steam link just released it works fine.
It would be great if PCVR via link cable was given some love by meta -
particularly as AMD have improved ...
I've a 7900 XTX - with the Oculus software running and a PCVR link cable
there is the normal message that the PC doesn't meet minimum
requirements... Running steamVR & HL: Alyx (in particular) steam tells
me I'm short on VRAM (really?) so my Q3 in PC...
Interesting comment... I had no issues with my Valve Index on either
6900XT or 7900XTX but have had the 'warning' from Oculus for literally
years. The Oculus software / drivers are not guiltless - well
illustrated, in my own experience, with steamVR....
I have the same message... 5900X CPU / 7900XTX GPU 32GB DDR4 4000 and
NVMe / SATA SSD drives... (so not exactly a slug!) The warning that my
PC isn't compatible is annoying! I now have the Quest 3 (as well as 2)
and like the difference in clarity - ...
